Locksley (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Locksley is a four-piece rock and roll band that was originally formed in Madison, Wisconsin. Their music is very derivitave of early British Invasion bands such as the Kinks, the Beatles, and the Hollies.
In 2005 they released a self-titled EP containing the following songs: 1. Into the Sun 2. Don't Make Me Wait 3. All of the Time 4. She Does 5. In Love/In Time
The band's video for "Why Not Me" was recently put on heavy rotation on MTVu after it sparked interest on the network's program, "The Freshman." The song later became the theme for the network's show, "Why Can't I Be You?" which is an unprecedented leap for a band that remains independent of any record label. They also garnered an article in Spin magazine in August of 2006.
