Lochrin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lochrin is a small area in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It is a short distance to the south and west of the city centre and contains a wide mixture of retail shops, leisure facilities, other businesses and tenement housing.

Lochrin Basin was the original end-point for the Union Canal, but this was filled in after the closure of the canal as a commercial enterprise in the 1930s.
