Local service board

Local services boards are governing authorities in the province of Ontario, Canada. They exist in both unincorporated areas and in incorporated areas. They aren't considered municipalities in themselves, but they do look after local issues in their respective communities. They are overseen by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.
