Lo Wang
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lo Wang is the main character of the video game Shadow Warrior, released by 3D Realms on May 13, 1997. The game was based on a modified version of the Build engine, which was also used in the more popular 3D Realms title Duke Nukem 3D.
One of the more notable features of this game is Lo Wang's occasional use of anti-social, mildly sexist in-game remarks intended to be humorous. In addition, Shadow Warrior was violent and gory (as was typical of first-person shooters of the time).
Lo Wang has two siblings: a twin brother named Hung Lo, who was the main villain of the Twin Dragon add-on, and a baby sister named Tensi Yoka, who was supposed to star in the discontinued Deadly Kiss add-on.
It is also perhaps worthwhile to note that the character has an incongruous name for the apparent sake of a phallic joke: "Lo Wang" is a Chinese-sounding name, while ninja were Japanese.
