Thanks for discussing it before trying to add it again. Yes, I recommend to post a note in the talk page of the Super Nintendo article, as you will get more feedback there. I removed it because I considered it unnecessary, however consensus drives Wikipedia onwards, so if most people agree that the external link is useful, there will be no problem adding it.
