Tromostovje in Slovenian language, Three bridges or Triple Bridge in English, a triple bridge designed in 1929 by Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik. In the back, you can see in the baroque style the church of St Francis of Assisi (frančiškanska cerkev), in front of it the statue of the Slovenian poet France Prešeren and his Muse on the Prešeren's Square (Slovenian: Prešernov trg), the central square of Ljubljana. In the far back the hotel Union can be seen, and on the right a small part of the Central pharmacy. See also Description on the web page of the Institute Josef Stefan. Photo taken by Matthew Mayer.
