Liza Tarbuck

Liza Tarbuck (born 21 November 1964) is an English actress and television presenter, and daughter of Jimmy Tarbuck. In 2001, they teamed up for a celebrity edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
She was born in Liverpool, and trained at the National Youth Theatre and RADA.

Her first big break came in the late 1980s with a starring role in the long running Granada Television comedy series, Watching, in which she played a character called Pamela, opposite Emma Wray.
She appeared in the 1988 Falklands War drama Tumbledown as Angie, which also starred Colin Firth, Paul Rhys and David Calder.
She took the title role in Linda Green, which ran for two series in 2001 and 2002. In 2005 she played Mrs Jellyby in the BBC1 adaptation of Bleak House.
She is a guest star on the sitcom Extras, as Rita in Andy Millman's comedy When The Whistle Blows. She has lately had a role in The Inspector Lynley Mysteries as DI Fiona Knight.
Her comedy credits include Stella in an episode of The League of Gentlemen and Dana in an episode of Victoria Wood.
Her other acting credits include The Hound Of The Baskervilles and Chimera.

After a seven year break from television, she presented the fashion programme She's Gotta Have It in 1998. Her exuberance, humour and presenting skills landed her a presenting job on The Big Breakfast where she forged a successful partnership with Johnny Vaughan.
She hosted a Sky One edition of Blockbusters and she has been a guest presenter on Have I Got News For You.
In 2003 she hosted Channel 4's International Emmy Award winning discussion/gameshow Without Prejudice?.
She also hosted ITV1's late night gameshow Win, Lose or Draw Late and the Channel 4 dog trials show Britain's Top Dog.
She narrates Airport.
