Liverpool porcelain is a soft-paste porcelain produced between 1756 and 1800 in various factories in Liverpool, mainly for export to the colonies and later to the United States of America. Factories included those of Richard Chaffers, Philip Christian, William Reid, Samuel Gilbody and the Pennington family.
