Live was the first official live, and overall fourth, album by the British band The Happy Mondays, recorded live in Leeds, England on June 1, 1991. The album is viewed with disdain by many, who see it as an attempt to cash in on the proliferation of live bootleg recordings of the time. Others view the album as a fascinating document of a band who defined the Madchester era, delivered in superior sound quality compared to that of the many bootlegs.
