Little Red Songbook

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Since the founding of the Industrial Workers of the World, also known as the IWW, songs have played a big part in spreading the message of the One Big Union. The songs are preserved in the Little Red Songbook.

The Little Red Songbook was first published around 1909 and it includes songs written by Joe Hill, Ralph Chaplin, T-Bone Slim, and others. It contains many of the labor songs that are still famous, such as "Solidarity Forever."
