Lito Decorian Sheppard (born April 8, 1981 in Jacksonville, Florida) is a Pro Bowl cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is 5-10 and 194 pounds. He was drafted with the 26th pick of the 2002 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida. He is the cousin of former Texans and Eagles, and current Patriots wide receiver Jabar Gaffney. He attended William M. Raines High School in Jacksonville, the same school attended by Eagles teammate Brian Dawkins.

Lito was selected to the 2005 Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Lito Sheppard attended the University of Florida. While there, he was a two time All-American, started 22 games in 3 seasons, and recorded 8 interceptions, and 87 tackles. He also returned 27 kickoffs for 472 yards (22.5 yards per return avg.).

On October 8, 2006, Lito became the first player in NFL history to have two interception returns of more than 100 yards. Both returns came against the Dallas Cowboys. (2004 & 2006) The most recent return sealed a triumphant 38-24 win over T.O. and the Cowboys and secured 1st place in the division for the Birds. (updated: Week 5)

Despite being injured in the season opener, and missing 3 more games, Sheppard leads the Eagles and is third in the NFL with 5 INTs this season. (updated: Week 13)
