- We need somebody to write lots of articles on rose cultivars - commons is accumulating rose pics faster than the encyclopedia is describing them. Stan 06:47, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
What do you need in an article about rose cultivars? Is it just the information on the breeding? Who developed it and what the genetic history is along with a description or something more? I can do the basics but want to make sure it would be adequate. I looked for an example but ALL the pictures seem to be red linked. Jirel June 19, 2006

Given that I just nominated Flower gallery for deletion (for being redundant to Wikipedia:List of images/Nature/Plants/Flowers) I want to move this to Wikipedia:List of images/Nature/Plants/Flowers/Roses. - Strong Oppose Don't move an encyclopedic entry like this one into a project page which is used souly for adminnistration. This should be part of the encylopdiea, not a project page, especialy not a subpage of one which is about to be moved out of wikikpedia. Tobyk777 00:10, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I guess I'll see what happens with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Flower gallery (2nd nomination). If the consensus is to delete that, then I will move this. If that's to be kept, then this will stay too -- after all, it's the same principle. howcheng {chat} 15:39, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
