This template can be used to help format featured lists for display on the Wikipedia:Featured content page. Just make the formatting changes using 'inclusion' tags, save the page to 'lock in' those changes, click 'edit this page' again, add {{list preview}} to the top, and then use the 'Show preview' button. You will see a mockup of the page exactly as it will appear on 'featured content'. Note that since the template displays how the currently saved version of the page will appear you cannot just make more changes and preview again. You will need to save after each set of adjustments to see the effects. Be sure to remove {{list preview}} before saving or when you are done.
