Talk:Lists of trivia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You would indicate objectively to us why they are silly and pointless.

Having come up with two of the 4 myself, I was going for the reverse psychology effect - figuring that if I called them pointless and someone objected, I'd save myself the trouble of having to justify their encyclopedia-worthiness :-)
Do you like the new title? Mkweise
I like it much more ;). But perhaps one may refine the trivia article.

This is very POV. -fonzy

ok now the page has been move its now NPOV

This is one of the few really sensible lists on Wikipedia. That's my point-of-view. Wetman 04:18, 21 Feb 2004 (UTC)

[edit] This list should be on the list

Doesn't anybody agree with me? It is indeed a trivia list, so it should be on the list. – Iggy Koopa 05:08, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Heh. Apparently not. Herein lies the difference between Wikipedia and Uncyclopedia---at least Uncyclopedia know that they're silly. ;)--152.78.61.60 13:45, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

I removed it because there is no point in a page linking to itself. --Alex9891 13:48, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

You're ignoring the proper semantics of this: the list is incomplete unless it includes itself (specifically, in the form of the “silly, pointless lists” redirect, right next to the one for fictional US Republicans). --152.78.61.60 13:58, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Well it's pretty stupid anyway. :S --Alex9891 13:59, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] This list represents the pinnacle of Wikipedian Achievement

It makes me so proud.--BigCow 01:46, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
