Talk:Lists of fictional things

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Guys, good luck with listing infinity (see http://www.qwantz.com/index.pl?comic=233). Also, I think someone has beat you to it! You should probably incorporate the results from http://www.thingsthatdontexist.com/

I added puppets a while back and took it down later because they were real puppets. Now, for some reason, it's back. What's the line of logic here? -Litefantastic 01:31, 20 May 2004 (UTC)

The puppets are real, but their characters are fictional. Or something along those lines. -Sean 19:22, 20 May 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Tech?

Is there anywhere that I'm not seeing a list of fictional technologies, or ficitonal devices? - FZ 23:22, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Politics

Do we have a need for fictional empires or would they go under fictional governments?-B-101

That'd be under fictional govenments, I think -Litefantastic 15:32, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Should we put up a page for the politics of The Lord of the Rings? What I mean is a page with the different kingdoms, etc.?- B-101 15:02, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Ask yourself this: is there really a need for a full article on the subject? Unless you can go into some depth on it, don't bother. -- LGagnon 15:47, Sep 6, 2004 (UTC)
Maybe we should have a page about fictional kingdoms from all stories, not just LofR.- B-101 18:02, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
What about a page called List of Fictional Entities in Lord of the Rings with sections for the different kingdoms, geographical areas, armies, etc.? 172.191.81.13 18:14, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Make it List of fictional entities in Lord of the Rings; the extra capitalization just befuddles people, and when I say people, I mean me. -Litefantastic 16:25, 15 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I think we should have a page for fictional politicans and other high government officers. Here we can put fictional mayors, kings, etc.- B-101 16:15, 15 Sep 2004 (UTC)

There now exists List of fictional rulers and List of fictional politicians. MakeRocketGoNow 02:24, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Lists of Lists

For accuracy, You might want to consider forking this page. Perhaps something like:

I don't suggest using the words "Archive" or "Index" in the article name. List, I believe, is the more appropriate term.
