[edit] What about games with extreme in-game advertising?

Would games which have the more extreme style of in-game advertising (for example, the large-scale inclusion of Penguin bar penguins in Robocod, or the use of Chupa Chups as a powerup in Zool, or Lucazade as the health in Superfrog) go here? - Markusdragon 01:10, 26 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Launch dates

Somebody could add the game's launch dates or at leats point the first one videogame ever based on a movie. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stratofabio (talk • contribs) .

[edit] Split

I propose that this list be split into the following lists: List of video games based on films, List of video games based on television shows, List of video games based on comics, List of video games based on books (or novels). Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 12:50, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Seems like a good idea to me. If nothing else, at least remove the split between genres/target audiences of movies - many don't completely fit into one category, and it makes the list harder to browse.
