[edit] Waffle Iron Trap

Anyone think we should include the unseen but heard of "Waffle-Iron Trap"? According to the commentary for the Saw 2 movie, Addison's trap involved her having to reach into a waffle iron-like machine to retrieve an antidote, only to have it lock down on her hands. She would have to scar her face to unlock the iron by applying pressure to it with her head. JackOfHearts 04:19, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, if the trap is confirmed by a reliable source, and since we have the Saw III "Unknown Traps" category, why not?--KittyCollier 13:55, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
It was on the Saw 2 commentary. The wrist trap was originally meant for Gus (the guy who got sot through the head by the gun). There's also a note of the trap on the page for the Saw 2, in the trivia section. Any other thoughts on adding it? JackOfHearts 00:04, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
"The Waffle Iron Trap (unseen)
A trap meant for Addison, which was similar to a waffle iron. It would clamp down on Addison’s hands when she reached for an antidote, and burn them until released. The only way to unlock it would be to apply pressure to the top, which would have to be done by her head, as both of her hands would be trapped. By pressing her face against the top, she would open the mechanism up, freeing her hands at the price of burning and scarring her face. This trap was never seen on Saw II, as Addison instead ended up getting trapped in Gus’ trap (The Razor Box Trap). It was spoken of on a commentary for the film."
How's that? I'm not adding it just yet in case anyone has any objections... JackOfHearts 02:22, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
I think that the slight spoiler for Saw III should be removed from the end of the paragraph about the Bathroom trap because, despite the spoiler warning, people (myself included) will think that if it's under the Saw I category it will only have spoilers for that film. I thought it was said it was her arm or arms that were wrapped in razor wire and that the only way to free them was to burn her face.

[edit] Possible removal of some traps.

Some of the traps on here I feel should be removed, as they are not Jigsaw games (like the Shotguns or the Electric Staircase), but just ways he kept himself from being caught.

Well i understand that these have already been taken off, but truly they are the only one of his games that could truly count as traps at all... a trap is something that people unwitingly fall into.... Not something that someone is placed in... the whole article should be named Jigsaw's games in this case... *shrugs* thats just me

[edit] Page Merger

This page seems to deal with a subject that may be better off in the context of the Saw (film series) page. It is a bit redundant to have an article that details the traps found in a movie series, especially when the main page dealing with all three movies (and the ones yet to come) is a stub. It may also be helpful to readers in finding this information on the main page rather than in its own article. Putting this page as a section in the main SAW article would also place it in the context of the movie, rather than just on its own. Jarryd Moore 13:48, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

I think that is good to have these traps on a seperate location so that people can just read what the traps are about without reading about the whole story. It is also easier to read what they do and the outcome, so that I can use them in my death game as a copycat killer. Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.247.55.12 (talkcontribs).

A section in the series page seems the maximum, as they are all detailed in the infdividual films. Rich Farmbrough, 16:21 1 November 2006 (GMT).

I don't think that these two pages can really be merged easily. --Spencer "The Belldog" Bermudez | (Complain here) 11:53, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Seperate pages.

It would seem that the majority would prefer seperate pages. Should I take the request down? JackOfHearts 03:58, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your input guys. Taking the merge suggestion down now. :-) Jarryd Moore 03:23, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Games

That would be a better title for this article. Because some of them are not really traps, like the bathroom one. People only started calling them traps because of The Reverse Bear Trap or the Venus Fly Trap. And John(Jigsaw) never called them traps but he always called them games.--Nimrod1234 21:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pics

Why were the pics (see below) for the traps taken down? I understand that they were spoilers, but it didn't show anything that wasn't already discussed in the article itself...

JackOfHearts 01:54, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Looks like all of the pictures were removed by [[User:Lololove]...who has one prior vandalism warning on his talk page. I think it'd be a good idea to revert, unless this person posts a good reason not to have them. There is, after all, a perfectly good spoiler warning on the page. tepid 02:00, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] another merge suggestion

Any objections? Any at all? --Spencer "The Belldog" Bermudez | (Complain here) 16:47, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

After looking at that article a second time...I think I'll just do it here and now. There's not even a section on Saw III --Spencer "The Belldog" Bermudez | (Complain here) 16:53, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Zep or Zepp?

I can't tell for myself, but it's listed as either throughout this article... When I put down "Zep's test" someone said it was with 2 P's, and then someone said it's with 1... JackOfHearts 01:28, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

And now it's 2 p's again... JackOfHearts 01:18, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
