Talk:List of reggaeton artists and producers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I suggest eliminating the classification by nations; it is unnecessary and problematic. What if a person who wants to make an entry doesn't know where the artist/producer is from? What if an artist/producer was born in one country but raised in and associated with another? Also, I think the producers should be in the same list as artists, since most of them are or were artists earlier in their careers. If the distinction should be maintained, then I suggest marking the producers with an asterisk (or some similar system to label the names). Keeping the article as one big list can also help speed up alphabetical sorting. White Agent 17:54, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

I agree. One list in alphabetical order containing both artists and producers is enough. I don't think the distinction between artists and producers is important enough to be made apparent here - that information exists (or should exist) in the actual articles for the persons in question. Country (or countries) can/should still be noted, but as a secondary bit of info. eae 17:10, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reggaeton Artist and Hip Hop Artist

It should be noted that this article is about Reggaeton Artists and Producers NOT Hip-Hop artists like Pitbull or Cuban Links...
