I was doing some research to clear this up...there are sources that have him being born elsewhere, but then having his parents move to Norwalk when he was young (prob. related to the disputed '29 or '30 birth year). It's then mentioned as a boy he worked in selling shellfish in the area. So although it's not for certain whether he was *born* in the city, he at least grew up there. I changed his entry to reflect this, though I'm not sure if wrote it to my liking, please feel free to reword it if you'd like. TJ0513 17:55, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
