Talk:List of hospitals in the United States
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
To anyone who reads this ... soon! I'm wondering if its even necessary to make links to every single one of the hospitals? It takes a lot of time to do it, and I could be done with the list much faster if I didn't have to. Maybe I should just put the names down and then go back and make links to the ones that already have pages? What do you all think? MattSal 23:12, Nov 14, 2003 (UTC)
- First, I think each state should have a sub-list page, and this one links to them, to save on page weight. Second, I think you should just plop it down, then ask if someone can write a bot to add the [[ and the ]]. -- Emperorbma 04:56, 15 Nov 2003 (UTC)

- Firstly, to whom would thou ask such a task? Any particular users that excell at this that you ask of, I must know? Second, I have considered your request of reformatting the page into multiple sublists and (have) decided to act within thyne favor within a short span of time from the writing of this. Cheers. - Well, you could look at PyWikipediaBot. But alas, it also requires knowledge of Python and a little coding expertise. -- Emperorbma 06:50, 16 Dec 2003 (UTC)

- You might also try search and replacing (in a text editor) the stars that you use for bullets with the star and the wikilink opener and replacing the endlines with close wikilinks and the return. e.g. replace "*" with "*[[". -- Emperorbma 06:53, 16 Dec 2003 (UTC)

- All I know is, I assume there are hospitals and every state. How can there be any dead links?--Attitude2000 03:12, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
