Talk:List of fictional characters who lack bravery

[edit] Removed Ron Weasley from list

You people have GOT to be joking. I can just see Rincewind the sorcerer, with a broken leg, standing up to a mass murderer and yelling, "If you want to kill Twoflower, you will have to go through me first!". Or Piglet, having developed a deep arachnophobia, resolving to intrude upon a gigantic spider colony in the middle of a dark forest. Or the cowardly lion heroically leaving himself at the mercy of a merciless gigantic automaton on a chessboard as a sacrifice, so his friends can go on. Whoever put Ron's name here has clearly done so under the influence of the movies, which horridly butcher his character, and since a "Ron Weasley as portrayed in the movies, but not in the series" item would seem sort of convulted, I decided to do away with his undeserved mention here altogether. --AceMyth 17:49, Mar 12, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] unencyclopedic

WP:Listcruft asks

  • Was this list was created just for the sake of having such a list?
  • Is this list of interest to a very limited number of people?
  • Is this list a notable concept?
  • Is the list unencyclopaedic, i.e. would it be expected to be included in an encyclopaedia?

[edit] Pretty useless POV influenced list

How did Xander Harris end up on the list? If he really lacked bravery he would not have lost his eye or participated in the final Hellmouth battle. Very silly and deserving of the AfD. --Eqdoktor 07:16, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
