This whole article is unneeded. "List of fiction that breaks the fourth wall" is more thorough.

If my section on "building" the fourth wall had not been deleted from the Fourth Wall article, citing original research (oops), this page would have had more purpose. If deletion is considered the best alternative, so be it. Caligari 87 08:07, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

The other article is more detailed, only because there's more fiction found that breaks the fourth wall than builds it. -UK-Logician-2006

I think the concept that the author of this page is trying to descibe is much more comprehensively covered at metafiction. I see no reason to have a list here, especially one on a term that does not occur anywhere else. The page is unnecessary, I'm afraid Coyote-37 15:48, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

While the idea of "building the fourth wall" is interesting, it's just elaboration on the process of breaking it. The examples here are really just movies that play with the fourth wall. This article has no citations to outside literature... It's original research and should be deleted.wasserperson 20:31, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

I think there needs to be an intro to this page, and possibly a section on the fourth wall page. I'm not clear on exactly what building the fourth wall means, or I would put it there myself. --Silver lode 20:10, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
