Talk:List of criminals by nickname
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wasn't there a "Gentleman Johnny" on the New York airport job in the '70s? There was a movie about it, & he was played by John Mahoney (I think).
Also, who was the Canadian outlaw "The Megantic Bandit"?
And "Zodiak" is described as "unknown". Wasn't he caught & prosecuted in around '98? Trekphiler 11:56, 12:05 & 12:17, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Re Barbarossa: there were at least 3, a father & a couple of brothers, who all went by that name. Trekphiler 21:04, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] HUH?
"Camilleri: Abe Adrian or his various alias's: Adrian Abe Camilleri, Christopher John Camilleri, John Christopher Camilleri, Charles Reeves, JOhn Camilleri. He mainly uses the name Adrian. He is 31 years of age and he is Australia's biggest financial con-man. He has ripped people off to the tune of $40 million since early 2005 and he is currently being investigated by Australian Securities and Investment Commission on criminal charges. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HIM AS POSSIBLE OR YOU WILL BE BURNED! "

"Saca" Catalano (1933-83) is not "Toto" Catalano (1941-) Also, I rely on Carl Sifakis' The Mafia Encyclopedia. Trekphiler 13:54, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rubbed out
I deleted this:
- "Dutch Schultz" — Arthur Flegenheimer, U.S. mobster
This isn't a nickname, it's the name (or alias) he commonly used, or is best known by. If he'd been "Arthur Schultz" & went by "Dutch", I'd leave it. Not so. Trekphiler 17:08, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
