[edit] Page Necessity

Is there any reason for why this is an article by itself and not a part of Frisky Dingo? -- Tim D 04:48, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Because every other television show has a page dedicated to all the characters, where their bios get fleshed out. The show just premered not too long ago, give it time. --216.96.119.186 01:41, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Every other television show that has an article on here? What about Metalocalypse or Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law? Both of these pages have the character listings on the actual article page. Given so few characters at the moment, I think it would be a good idea to put them on the main article, instead of devoting a page to such a small amount of information. -- ModernTenshi04 19:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
I disagree. Given that this show has presented roughly 5-10 new characters per episode not counting the main cast, if things keep up in this manner this list will quickly get too large for the show's article. I propose letting it stand as it is for at least a couple of weeks, and seeing how things develop. Rob T Firefly 04:56, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, i feel it should stay separate; it's too big, for one, and it could possibly grow. BishopTutu 05:27, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trent and Brent Entries

Should both of these just be merged into one entry? The information could easily be converted into one entry on both characters since they're twins, and seeing as how they were both killed in the first episode, I doubt any more information will be added, aside from what already exists. -- ModernTenshi04 19:53, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Good point. If the legless bloodied corpses do indeed have some further role in the series, we can change things around then. MGlosenger 20:53, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Regarding any other show that answer would seem weird, but this is a 70/30 show... Rob T Firefly 04:58, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Awesome X or Awesome-X / Xtacles or X-ticles

Anyone have any sort of official information on whether Awesome X should have a hyphen or not? adultswim's website doesn't even list Frisky Dingo on their 'Shows' page, and neither the show nor 70/30 Studios seem to have a website. Is there an official Myspace page for the show..? MGlosenger 03:34, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

When Awesome-X is interviewed at the start of episode 2, his name is spelled with the hyphen in the news graphics and scrolling captions. I'd take that as the official spelling. Rob T Firefly 04:37, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Nice. Thanks. MGlosenger 06:02, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Now, if only we knew how to really spell "X-tacles!" Rob T Firefly 14:13, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
My logical guess for the spelling would be as X-ticles since it is a play on the word "testicles" after all. --carpeNoctem 06:27, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Zooming in on the paycheck in episode 5, it's written out to "XTACLE LEROY." Mystery solved! Rob T Firefly 22:26, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
good eye. Well, it was a logical guess that it would be "icle" since it's a play on the word "testicle" and the Adult Swim sources I had seen also had it spelled in that way. Anyway if this is an indication of consistency with spellings, Cap'n Crump is back to being spelled with the C's again after it was spelled with K's in the third episode and I have seen Awesome X appear both with a hyphen and without. It's really frustrating for me because I am the Editor of the show guide on tv.com and I would like the spelling to be accurate. It's one thing to make changes on wikipedia but quite another to have to edit information on tv.com. --carpeNoctem 22:34, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
I find it weird that they decided on this spelling when various publications[1][2] about Frisky Dingo and adultswim's official site[3] used the spelling X-ticles. Where did they get their info from? Gdo01 22:37, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] MySpace links

I've added Killface and Simon's MySpace links. Copied from my post on the main article's talk page, here's the verifiable evidence that they are official links run by the show, and not just fans doing a bit of roleplaying.

  • Many of the "photos" in Killface's profile could have only come from production art. Most of the images shown are seen briefly in the background on the show decorating Killface's lair, but not that clearly, and the "paintings" especially would be hard for a fan to duplicate so closely.
  • Many of Killface's "top friends" are the show's staff, a couple of whom have Killface in their own "top friends" in return. ("Mack" is Mack Williams, and "Neal" is Neal Holman, both of 70/30.)
  • Killface's signup date to MySpace (viewable on his blog page) was 9/17/06. Simon's was 9/29/06. The show didn't air until 10/16/06, or 10/13(?) on adultswim.com. While Killface was in the teasers and promotional writeups, Simon was not.
  • Killface has left (in-character) comments on Simon's Myspace as early as 10/11/06, five days before the show aired on TV.

There's also the "Killface Speaks" series from adultswim.com. I'm not sure if they'll put up any more official web presences for these characters, but if they do, the links would fit well on this article. Rob T Firefly 14:10, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Voices for Simon & Phil

Where was the information that Christian Danley voices both Simon and Phillip taken from, because IMDB lists Mike Bell as voicing Simon and Christian Danley as Phil. --carpeNoctem 06:32, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

I believe you're correct, the sources seem to agree that Mike Bell voices Simon. Rob T Firefly 05:05, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
