[edit] LepIndexing done

The list of Lycaenids from Identification of Indian Butterflies by Brig W.H. Evans has been Lepindexed. The Lepindexing is not complete due to problems in taxonomy in NMNH's LepIndex. However, it is being kept as per LepIndex at the present for the sake of consistency.

[edit] List resorted after Lepindexing and dumped on main article page

The present list after resorting is being placed on the Article page. Old list is being transferred to one of my user pages here. AshLin 13:02, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cyaniris lilacea

What is it ? It is supposed to be endemic to the Nilgiris according to Bingham, 1907. Other synonyms mentioned are C. puspa and C. crissa. Shyamal 15:52, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Assigned to Acytolepis lilacea. Shyamal 15:56, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re Stubs

Hi all, after Lepindexing, I'm making stubs. Since we want a high std and include relevant info, expect progress to be slow. The type of stub I want to make can be seen in Poritia phalena. So I am bolding the common names of those butterflies which have a decent quality stub. Will take few months for me to do this, I am afraid. AshLin 10:35, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
