Sean Schemmel? Really? Where did that (italicized for effect, not sarcasm) bit of info come from?
[edit] Hun
Given the emergence of size concerns for this list and the amount of info on him, does anybody else think it might be a good idea to give him his own entry? (I don't have an account, so I can't do it myself) Every other 2003 regular has one. Likewise for the The Ultimate Ninja/Drako/The Ultimate Drako, although I figure they need it less (maybe one entry for both of them).
[edit] Error with Slash and his video game appearances?
wasn't Slash also in the first NES turtles game? I think he was a middle-boss guarding tied-up Splinter on some rooftop.
- I just looked at the walkthrough of the game [1], and Slash is not mentioned anywhere in it. Unless they used another name for him. -- Ritchy 13:57, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- The first TMNT NES game came out in 1989, and according to the official TMNT website, Slash first appeared in 1990, in the 1987 TMNT cartoon ("Slash: The Evil Turtle from Dimension X") and as a toy action figure. He first appeared in the TMNT Adventures comics in 1991.

- Slash definitely wasn't in it. I played through this game many times and never encountered him.

- The one that you are thinking of, Ritchy, is Mechaturtle, a precursor to other robot turtles such as the T4 (Dreamwave) and Turtlebot (2003 video game/cartoon series). The S 21:44, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Granitor?
I remember a blue Stone Warrior called Granitor from the arcade game, and the 1987 series, if I recall correctly. He had a bird-like face and stood taller than Traag... Why isn't this character mentionned anywhere? --Dez26 02:16, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- Because no one tought of him until you reminded us. Feel free to add him to the list. -- Ritchy 02:31, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Aska?
Why is this character included in the list? She doesn't appear in any of the 7 major TMNT incarnations. In fact, she's only in a single videogame. The article states that only appearances count, not brief mentionings or references. From browsing the list, all characters listed have had some significant contribution to one or more of the 7 TMNT worlds. I really don't think Aska deserves to be on this list. If the videogames were counted as the 8th incarnation, then I can understand her inclusion. Otherwise, she seems very out of place. Ninja kid21 22:14, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Well, according to what's written, she's apparently got some kind of fan following, so 'that's' probably cause for significance. And technically, doesn't a video game appearance count as an appearance? 72.72.200.21 23:26, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

- Ya, I've noticed that she's got a cult following, and I can understand why when you see her in action. =) I do count being in a videogame as an appearance, but I'm only questioning her inclusion on the list because the article refers to the cartoons, comics, movies, and the Next Mutation. There's no mention of the videogames on that list, so Aska looks out of place. If you check the table, she's got red no's accross the board, which makes her seem like she's played no role in the TMNT world. I think the character list would be more organized if the videogames were included, or if Aska were dropped. However, I'd like to know how others feel about this, or if there are any other suggestions. Ninja kid21 23:47, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

- Her having a cult following doesn't justify her being in the list. The real question is whether characters who only appear in videogames should be included. I think they should. After all, the videogames are part of the TMNT franchise, even if they are not part of the canon universe. The Image comics and Next Mutation are also not part of the canon, and they are included. Plus, most of the more detailed character pages include a description of that character's appearance in videogames. So I say we should add a "videogame" column to the table.
By the way, Aska is not the only videogame-only character in the list. Slashuur also only appeared in videogames. I see that in the table he is incorrectly listed as having appeared in one of the series. I'll correct that, and add the new column when I have time. -- Ritchy 01:48, 22 September 2006 (UTC) - I added the videogame column. There are a lot of unknowns, as I've never played the games based on the new series. I hope someone who's more familiar with them can fill in the missing information. -- Ritchy 03:11, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

- Great work! The list looks much more comprehensive. Off the top of my head, I know for sure that Hun was in the newest videogames. I'm not so sure about the other characters, since I haven't been able to play through all of the games. I'll edit the table to add Hun's videogame appearance. - I just realized that Professor Honeycutt (AKA Fugitoid) was also in the videogames. Fixed that as well. Ninja kid21 15:36, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Movies
It now appears that TMNT (2007 film) will follow the continuity of the other movies (or at least the 1st and 2nd), and will not be the start of a new TMNT continuity. Therefore, I will merge its column with the movie column. -- Ritchy 19:04, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
