[edit] Future Station names

NS6: Sungei kadut or katut (which one is correct?) NS12: Canberra (or simpang?) In the singapore street directory 2006 edition, the future station is sungei kadut and canberra. Should we change the working names of kadut to sungei kadut and add in canberra for NS12? If you agree with me, please change the names. if no leave it what it is now. Thanks.

Who is the publisher? Sometimes, the commercial publisher may have done their homework but the sources might not necessarily be official. There was one which already indicated Bukit Timah Station (which eventually was named Adam Station and then Botanic Gardens Station) even before stage 4 and 5 of CCL was announced. How much can we trust it? But Kadut is definitely official since it was on the newspaper. As for Simpang or Canberra, there is no official report to substatiate either claim.

I don't remember that Kadut was on the newspaper. Which newspaper was it from which year?

When the extension was first announced to the public so it should be in 1991.

The official Street Directory published under the license of Ministry of Law in 2000 listed the station at NE5 as Singapore River. Did the authority change the name before reverting to the original name Clarke Quay? Should Singapore River be listed as the working name since it appeared on official document?

If it should be listed, Sungei Kadut and Canberra should also be listed since they came from the same publisher.

What is official street directory? can scan a copy of the front cover?

It is the street directory published under the license of the Ministry or Law/Singapore Land Authority. None of which has Sungei Kadut or Canberra listed. In fact, I haven't seen any directory with the 2 stations printed. Please post a picture to substantiate you claim.

Mighty Mind is a commercial publisher. It was also the one who came up with Bukit Timah before Adam station was announced. Their source is dubious.
