Talk:List of Minnesota companies

[edit] List purpose
This article is criticized in an AfD for being indiscriminant, and rightly so in my opinion. I take this as an opportunity to set the article on the right track in an attempt to salvage it. I propose restating its purpose as:
- List of Minnesota companies includes notable companies that are, or once were, headquartered in Minnesota.
The significant change here is from listing all to listing the notable companies. The measure for notability that I propose is that the company must have its own Wikipedia article. That is, no redlinks allowed. I will jump start this discussion by making the above definition of purpose change now, as time is of the essence. In a couple of days, if there is a consensus about this approach the redlinks can be removed. Your input is needed now! JonHarder 23:41, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Since there has been no other input, I will proceed to remove all non-articles from the main page, and place a note for future editor at the top of this page. Your comments would be helpful! JonHarder 00:55, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
