I also find it hard to believe people are given names like "Kurdistan" or "Pêşmerge". This seems to be more of a dictionary entry rather than a name list. --Cat out 15:31, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I added one source (Kurdish Library, Sweden). You're right about "Peshmerga", but Kurdistan is used as a given name. Appropriate source has been added.Heja Helweda 02:34, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

I don’t think this article meets the Wiktionary criteria for inclusion. This article is a list of Kurdish names and their meanings, not a list of words. --D.Kurdistani 19:46, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
