[edit] Names from MacFhirbhisigh

I've added and will continue to add names from the index (volume five) of MacFhirbhisigh's "Leabhar Mor Genealach" which was published two years ago. I don't think I'm wrong when I say it has the LARGEST index of Gaelic personal names in existence. Fergananim 16:22, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Great! Can you add complete bibliographical information to a "Sources" section? Angr (tc) 16:45, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

I would like to add that in our language Diarmuid (depending on reigional dialect, in this case more predominantly in Cork and Kerry) is more correctly pronounce Jeer-mid, and in all cases as a Gaelicization of Jeremy, where Dermot is a re-anglicization of the Gaelic. I can find the sources foryou and will repost accordingly. Thank you Sèamus M. Kiernàn

[edit] Moving to Wiktionary

Allow me to point out that there are about 20 pages in this category in the same style as this one. Either move them all to Wiktionary, or leave them all alone. Their organization is also haphazard, and possibly deserving of AFD on those grounds. 129.98.212.64 06:00, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Query

Does anyone known a Gaelization of Augusta (perhaps one used by Lady Gregory) and of Mark? Thanks. House of Scandal 10:03, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
