As a quick point of interest, Homer's job before gaining the position of "Safety Inspector" was a "Nuclear Technician", as evidenced in the episode "Lisa's first word".

Should being Mr. X consider him a webmaster or internet website designer? (or both as is now) --Kiraki 14:33, 9 August 2005 (UTC)

I said webmaster. I think we should keep the job names as professions or hobbies, not as job TITLE. In fact, the article fare do better with a more descriptive name than "jobs" --Fitch 07:06, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

The entries based upon halloween episodes are somewhat questionable but surely 'Jack in the box' is not a job? MagicBez 15:03, 12 August 2005 (UTC)

Also should 'unemployed' be on a list of jobs when it's the absence of one? MagicBez 15:06, 12 August 2005 (UTC)

And surely 'Hippie' is not a job either? MagicBez 00:23, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Links to episodes

Shouldn't the entry for each job contain a link to the relevant episode in which he has the job?

--David Edgar 07:49, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
Yes I was thinking the same, episodes links to all of his jobs would be great. Andreasu 18:10, 15 September 2005 (UTC)

I don't think I saw it on the page, but when that supervillian took over the entire East Coast, he gave Homer ownership of the Denver Broncos.

It's there under List of Homer Simpson's jobs#O now. Not sure who put it there --Fitch 07:06, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

There a list of things homer was doing at the dime [or in the case of being unemplyed, not doing anything]. He had to be doing something, so it should go on the list. Emi211

[edit] Beer Baron

I'm not sure, but i think you forgot the beer baron. DuctoMan 22:03, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Is this vandalism? I mean the last sentence. NorwegianMarcus 15:18, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

No. No it's not. It's part of the quote. 172.159.199.219 15:53, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Co-owner of Moe's Tavern as "The Nag & Weasel"?

Homer mortgages his home to reopen Moe's after it is closed by the new health inspector in "Mommie Beerest." The episode page states that he forged Marge's name so she is the technical owner of Moe's. He never actually works at the tavern in this time, but presumably he does derive a share of the profits from it. So should it be listed? --216.123.202.47 22:43, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] As of now

When is that? GrahamBould 13:45, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I was thinking that! And I've just done a quick count and I get 130+ jobs (excluding the THOH episodes, etc). Lugnuts 17:25, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Should Chilli taster be a job listing? And to Ductoman16, Beer Baron is covered by the Bootlegger title.

Chili taster isnt a job, i took it out five minutes ago. but he never got paid, and it wasn't an official job.--Andy mci 16:41, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
