Talk:List of Halliburton subsidiaries
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Disputed I must suggest a review of the claims made in this article. KBR is listed as having some of the biggest corporations in the world as subsidiaries (most of which are in fact publicly traded companies) which would make Halliburton by far the biggest company on earth and even rivaling many large governments. It seems unlikely that KBR holds more than some stock, which depending on the amount might be noteworthy. But I don't think they own Exxon, Shell, Dupont, Amoco, Weyerhaeser and Philip Morris. I am concerned that these items are an attempt to further demonize a (rightfully) mistrusted company, but fair is fair. They don't yet own the whole world. I am of course further concerned that these items will fall into the urban mythology of anti-globalism groups with less than perfect fact checking habits, thereby reducing their credibility and generally misinforming the less critical thinking on the left.
I'm adding disputed to the page, hopefully someone with more time that I will try to verify and correct this article. TIA!
