[edit] Factual dispute
According to the A-League website, only the winner of the Grand Final is crowned anything; the competition doesn't recognise the achievement of Premiers. While I can understand that in most football competitions there is an official or unofficial award of Premier at the completion of the league season, it's not appropriate to present the idea of this award existing in the A-League if the official site doesn't recognise its existence. I think this page should be nominated for deletion unless somebody can find an instance where there has been an official award conferred on Adelaide FC as A-League Premiers 2005–06. ⁂veila# 10:08, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- Apparently there's a physical plate and everything. Why doesn't the A-League site have anything about this in the rules though? ⁂veila# 01:26, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
