- Shou Hamura and Kai Misonou, twin brothers in Angel's Feather.
- Masa and Mune, twin brothers in Chrono Trigger, who combine to form the legendary sword Masamune.
- Yutaka/Yuu (a.k.a. Alyssa) and Sho (a.k.a. Bates) from Clock Tower: Ghost Head (Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within in the US). Although shown as split personalities for most of the game, at the end it's revealed that they were actually fraternal twins who were to be killed, as twins were believed to be cursed in their family. They were buried alive, and although Yutaka was rescued in time, Sho died, and his vengeful spirit began to inhabit the body of his sister.
- Dante and Vergil, identical twin brothers in Devil May Cry.
- Billy and Jimmy Lee (aka Hammer and Spike), twin brothers who are the protagonists of the video game and TV series Double Dragon.
- In the Japanese horror game Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, the whole game features multiple sets of twins such as the main characters, Mio and Mayu. Also included are the Tachibana twins Itsuki and Mutsuki, the Kurosawa twins Sae and Yae and the Kiryu twins Azami and Akane.

- Palom and Porom, fraternal twin siblings in Final Fantasy IV.
- Edgar Roni Figaro and Sabin René Figaro (a.k.a. Mash René Figaro), fraternal twin brothers in Final Fantasy VI.
- Basch von Ronsenberg and Noah von Ronsenburg/Judge Magister Gabranth, identical twin brothers in Final Fantasy XII.
