The following is a listing of past and present shows on Australian radio station SEN 1116.

For all shows, the number to phone for talkback is 9429 1116. The SMS line is 0433 98 1116.
[edit] Morning Glory
Morning Glory began in 2004 as the SEN breakfast program and was hosted by Garry Lyon, Billy Brownless and Tim Watson.
In 2005, Lyon left the station for 3AW, leaving Andrew Maher to take his place as main host. The show is currently produced by Sam Clohessy, who took over from "Racetrack Ralph" Horowitz. The theme music used is "Morning Glory" by Oasis.
[edit] Hungry for Sport
A show running since 2004 by Kevin "KB" Bartlett, Hungry for Sport runs from 9-12 weekdays and is a play on Bartlett's nickname of Hungry.
In early 2006 Mark Allen and Matthew Campbell filled in this timeslot while KB went on holidays.
Regular segments on Hungry for Sport include appearances from Patrick Smith, Greg Denham (chief football writer for The Australian), and the "Friday Sports Chat" with Neil Balme and Brian Waldron.
[edit] The Good Oil
Mark Doran hosts the afternoon slot, called The Good Oil. Previously it was hosted by Bruce Eva, before Doran and Eva swapped slots, and in 2004 by Francis Leach. The theme music is "Afternoons and Coffeespoons" by the Crash Test Dummies.
The Good Oil's name derives from "providing the Good Oil on everything from the world of sport". During 2006, Tony Schibeci was a fill-in host while Doran cared for his newborn child.

The drivetime slot "The Run Home" is hosted by Anthony Hudson and David Schwarz. The theme music used is "Coming Home" by Alex Lloyd.
Before the pay dispute in 2005, Dermott Brereton was in place of Schwarz since the show's inception in 2004, when the original lineup included Hudson, Brereton and Matthew Hardy.
Regular guests include journalists Jake Niall and Mark Robinson, Gossip contributor Sergio Paradise, umpire Derek Humphery-Smith and Rodney Eade.
The show is produced by 'Racetrack' Ross Flegeltaub who has a background in the racing industry.
[edit] Beva After Dark
Bruce Eva takes over from 7pm-11pm with Beva After Dark, previously known as "The Night Watchmen" with Mark Doran.
Every weekday on Beva After Dark, there is the All Sport Super Quiz. It is a 20 question quiz, that tests the sporting knowledge of SEN listeners, where the listener is asked the question after phoning up. If the answer is wrong, you are kicked out, however if you get it right you progress to the next question. Recently, a new feature was added, the "gong question". If the gong goes off, only the person answering questions at the time can win this prize by getting the question right. If they get it wrong, the gong prize jackpots to the next night's quizzes' gong question.
[edit] The Day In Sport (11pm - 12pm) (Monday - Thursday)
Hosted by Matt Thompson (radio presenter) or Tim James in alternating roles, this is a selection of the best interviews of the day and sums up the day in sport.
[edit] World Sport Overnight (12am - 6am)

One of the more popular shows is the 12am-6am show World Sport Overnight, featuring Tony Schibecci. While no ratings of the program exist, it is tipped to be one of the most popular late night talkback shows, with many hilarious characters appearing.
On Tuesday mornings, Troy Zantuck, Jack Collins, Tony Schibecci and Steven Milne (journalist) host The Wonder Years, a show which focuses on looking at a certain year in sport and all the events that took place in that year. Wednesday's segments include the Wednesday Whinge and the Wednesday Quiz.
On Thursday mornings, veteran boxing announcer Howard Leigh, Troy Zantuck and lawyer Stephen Peak also appear with their hilarious ramblings on The Gladiators of Sport, a part of WSO. The Gladiators also appear on Sunday, with Stephen Peak and formerly Howard Kotton discussing issues alongside Tony Schibeci.
It is considered to be the most popular overnight show (ahead of Keith McGowan on 3AW), with a quality mix of sport and humour. Notable callers include Jarryd from Wattle Glen, Steve from Sydney, Christian from Mount Eliza, Billy from Heidelberg, Luke from East Hawthorn, Ben from Sunbury and the Cowboy from Avondale Heights.
On Saturday mornings, Brett Phillips take's over while Sunday morning's a filled by the One Week At A Time Boys.

Hosted by the triathletes Phil Wrochna and Matt Keenan. The boys cover everything in the world of cycling, running and open water swimming as they relate to triathlons.
The show is full of interesting interviews with people from the world of triathlons.

This health, fitness and general sport show is hosted by Craig Harper between 9pm and 11pm.

Hosted by Brett Phillips he is joined by Mark Erwin as they disect the game from friday night. If you want to hear a complete wrap of the nights game and have your say then this show is the one to be lsitening to.

Hosted by Racing Expert "Fastrack" Ross Flegeltaub who has 17 years of experience in the racing industry, Ross is joined by 15 time group one winning jockey Simon Marshall. The two give you there best bets for upcoming races all over the country.

Whether you are throwing the leg over with the darl or driving the kids to sport, maker sure you are tuned into Saturday Spotlight (9am-12pm), co-hosted by former US collage star and 177th ranked golf pro Mark Allen and former Cats B&F winner Liam Pickering. The guys will wrap up and take all your calls on the aftermath of Friday night footy. After 10, join Melbourne's leading footy writer Damien Barrett as he and the boys discuss all the big issues of the week. On The Grid is the only show on commercial radio dedicated to motor racing.
Hosted by Tony Schibecci each week the show covers V8 Supercars, Formula 1, Moto Gp, Superbikes, Rally, Formula 3, Sprint Cars and Drags, etc.... Tony Schibeci is joined by 2004 Australian Superbike and Supersport Champion Adam "Crusty" Furgusson each week to talk to the Drivers and Riders and get their opinion on what is happening in the World Of Motorsport.

One Week At A Time airs from 12am - 6am Sunday mornings and is hosted by Mark Franklin, Luke Mather & Lynden McGregor. Regular segments include "The Percentage Game", "Word Association", the famous "Top 5 List", "Fire Up Franka", the "SMS Poll Topic of the Week" and the "Sporting Disappointment of the Week". Regular guests include Martin Booth (UK's Sunday Mirror), Howard Berger (FAN 590 Toronto), John Fineran (Port Charlotte Sun) and Nick Dye. The show also features a regular world football segment from knowledgable show producer Dave Ciampa.

(7am-9am) Hosted by SEN's #1 reporter Matt Thompson he is joined by former Hawthorn midfielder Nick Holland as they get into the latest from the world of sport. During this show the lines are always open to talkback on (03)9429 1116. Matt and Nick wrap up all the latest from the AFL games so far during the week and a preview of the upcoming games on Sunday. They head to the Uk as well to hear the latest from the whole world of sport not just Australia.

(9am-12pm)Stawell Gift winner in '93 Jason Richardson(radio presenter) and former Australian Rules Footballer Daniel Harford are what you should wake up to on a Sunday morning. "Richo" is always full of energy and "Harf" always ready to talk AFL. Wrapping up all the overnight scores there are many great segments and time for listeners involvement on this show. At around 9:00am the segment "Flogs and Polishes" normally takes place and it is your chance to give a public flogging to those you think deserve to be flogged and a public polish to those you think need to be recognised for there contribution to the week of sport.
At 10am each week the boys are joined in the studio by Andrew Thompson for a look at all the AFL happenings
After 11am the boys are joined by Emma Freedman for all the goings on in horse racing.

It’s Australia’s best Rugby League radio broadcast, and it’s exclusive to Melbourne listeners on SEN every Sunday Afternoon with the match of the day. Ray Hadley’s Continuous Call Team, LIVE league action like no where else.
[edit] The Final Siren (7pm-10pm)
Bruce Eva and Mark Fine cohost this review of the weekend's AFL matches over the three hour show. They discuss the games' best performances and take calls throughout the show. The show culminates with the club song of the footy team voted as best on the weekend.
[edit] Born In The USA (9pm - 12pm)
(9p-12m) Hosted by the always entertaining Steve Salisbury and Ed Wyatt. The show was started in September 2005. They are occasionally joined by guests as they discuss all aspects of American sport and pop culture, usually with an edge and a degree of humour. (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and NCAA)
The theme music for the show is "Born In The USA" by Bruce Springsteen. The show has several regular segments, including the "Born in the USA Trivia Challenge", "Devils Advocate" and "Three Ball". The trivia challenge is hosted by Steve and his exchanges with the callers make for fantastic listening. The show attracts a variety of callers, many of whom have extensive knowledge and others who want to argue with the hosts.
Recently, actor Michael Vartan, ESPN's Bill Simmons, baseball manager Bobby Valentine, former NBA star and commentator Tom Tolbert and Stanley Cup Coach and ESPN's lead NHL commentator, Barry Melrose have appeared as guests on the show.

[edit] White With One
This was a Sunday morning show which was co hosted by Mark Allen and Jason Richardson. The show lasted for most of the 2005-2006 summer until it was replaced by "On The Rise".

This was a Sunday show which followed White With One and was hosted by Mark Allen who was joined by Damien Fleming and Liam Pickering. The show stopped at the same time as White With One and Pickering teamed up with Allen to do the Saturday mornings show of "Saturday Spotlight" while Fleming teamed up with "White With One" co-host Jason Richardson for there Sunday mornings "On The Rise".
[edit] Ring of Fire
Ring of Fire was a weekend show in 2004 with a focus on comedy. The hosts used aliases such as "The Fish", "Flash", "Racetrack Rasputin" and "The Cat" and provided humorous ramblings on the subject of sports.
[edit] Weekend Leave Pass
This weekend show ran in 2004 and was hosted by Mark Fine, Russell Gilbert and Ian Major. It was a light-hearted look at sport (thanks to comedian Gilbert).
[edit] Ralphy, Serge and the Big Man
A Saturday morning show beginning in 2004. It featured Scott Cummings, Sergio Paradise and Ralph Horowitz. It was a perfect, light-hearted and humorous Saturday morning show, featuring interviews with many high-profile people, including Gus and Frank, Bruno Lucia, Joe Camilleri, a huge range of AFL footballers from all clubs, and friends of the presenters, such as Alicia Molik and Fraser Gehrig. On December 10, 2005, the final episode of the show was aired and the Big Man cried.
[edit] The Insiders
The Insiders was a Sunday morning radio show that analysed sport in the media. It was hosted by Bruce McAvaney, The Age journalist Jake Niall and former athlete David Culbert. Once it ended in early 2005 it was replaced by a sponsored Australian netball show when SEN was in financial difficulty. On Sunday mornings, it was replaced by "The Players" with Damien Fleming, Mark Allen and Liam Pickering.
