Political parties in Kyrgyzstan lists political parties in Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan was a country dominated by the president. Opposition parties were allowed, but widely considered to have no real chance of gaining power. After the revolution this changed, so the present situation is more similar to a multi-party system.
