She became the Snake Princess in 739 BC. and the only person who she ever tried to capture was Emma Daiō, and that was 500 years ago. When Son Goku comes along she tries to steal his heart, but his sense of loyalty to his family and friends is of course far too strong, so, she just turns into a giant fire-breathing snake and tries to eat him. It is unknown whether Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Chaozu and Yamcha were also captured by her on their way to meet North Kaiō, or they simply ignored her castle and moved on. It could be possible that the Serpent Road has more relation to her, rather than to North Kaiō. She does not appear in the manga by Akira Toriyama.

[edit] Saibaimen character appears in the Dragon Ball Z seriescharacter appears in the Dragon Ball GT series

Small, humanoid creatures, they were used by the Saiyans for the purpose of training. During the battle with Nappa, six were grown in the Earth's soil to attack the defending Z Fighters. The English manga calls them "Cultivars". One was killed by Vegeta after failing to defeat Tenshinhan, another had no choice but to use the self-destruct attack on Yamcha inorder to win, killing himself, three were killed by Kuririn's raining energy blasts, and the remaining one was killed by Piccolo after it was weakened by Kuririn's energy blast. They later appear in DBGT as they escaped from Hell, but they are taken down easily by Son Goten and Trunks.

Saibamen have very sharp claws, the ability to shoot a stream of acid from the top of their head, and can self-destruct like a bomb. Some compare them to the Cell Juniors, as they have a similar role. In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, Doctor Gero has a group of differently-colored Saibamen called the Saiba Rangers, obviously a parodious reference to the Power Rangers.

Known as "Spice" in the FUNimation dub, Gashyu is a handsome, light blue skinned, stylish haired, cape wearing minion of Garlic Jr. He is a demon of Makyo-sei and is exceptionally powerful as the leader of the Four Monarchs ("Spice Boys" in the English dub) He is also one of the last characters to die in the Garlic Jr. arc. He can manipulate his own hair to choke his enemies during battle, which he efficiently does against Gohan. Like Garlic Jr., he receives a big dose of power and pumps up tremendously when Makyo-sei, or Devil Star Planet nears Earth in its rotation. After Kuririn is seriously injured, Gashyu is killed alongside Vinegar when Gohan releases a furious explosive wave around his body out of anger in order to hurry and save Kuririn. He holds a striking resemblence to Zarbon. His name is a pun on "Cashew".

[edit] Vinegar character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

Vinegar is the purple skinned powerhouse of the Spice Boys. He's the biggest of the Spice Boys and he's large, brawny, and very muscular. Bido

Bido is the large henchman of Bojack's crew, who has a mohawk and orange goatee. He tag-teams with Bujin in order to take down the opponents that Bujin traps. Right before he can kill Trunks, Vegeta blasts through the roof, knocking him and Bujin down. After Son Gohan turns Super Saiyan 2, he is punched in half and killed by the Saiyan, along with his ally Bujin.

Bido's name seems to have its root in the Japanese word bidou, which means "a tremor or slight movement; a quiver" (as in 'to quiver in fear').

[edit] Bujin character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively
Bujin

Bujin

Bujin is the short, psychic henchmen of Bojack. He likes to use Chou no Ryoku on his opponents to stop them in their tracks. He and Bido almost succeeded in killing Trunks if not for Vegeta who intervened. Along with Bido, he is killed by Son Gohan after going Super Saiyan 2 by getting kicked through the waist, separating him in two pieces.

Bujin's name is rooted in the Japanese word boujakubujin, which means "arrogance or audacity" and is the same word from which Bojack's name is derived.

[edit] Gokua character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively
Gokua

Gokua

Gokua is the handsome swordsman of Bojack's team. He surprises Trunks and they have a fight. He is very strong considering that he is equally matched by Trunks. His sword is shattered and he is defeated with one punch that goes completely through his abdomen.

Gokua's name is derived from the Japanese word gokuaku, which means "heinous." Not to be confused with the hero of Dragon Ball, Son Goku. This is why his name was changed to "Kogu" for the English dub.

Zangya

Zangya

Zangya is Bojack's vexing female underling.Considering she is mostly Bojacks lapdog she's quite a powerful fighter and takes on Kuririn. Near the end of the movie, she was killed when she backed away from Gohan, who had just ascended to Super Saiyan 2, out of fear, and Bojack pushed her in front of the young Saiyan and blasting her in the back in an attempt to distract Gohan; the distraction failed. Zangya makes a cameo appearance in the movie Fusion Reborn, resurrected from the dead through a mishap in the afterlife caused by Janemba.

Her name derives from the Japanese word zangyaku, which means "cruelty." Being one of the few female villains in the series, she made an appearance as a playable character in the fighting games Super Butoden 2 (released in Japan only) and Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

Hirudegarn's first form

Hirudegarn (Hirudegaan in the Japanese version) is the enormous monster and main villain in the Dragon Ball Z movie, Dragon Fist Explosion!! If Gokū Can't Do It, Who Will? (Wrath of the Dragon). He was released a group of black magicians (called the Kash-phar in FUNimation's dub) who cast a spell that brought to life a statue in which he had been sealed long ago, on the planet Konack. Before it could destroy the Konatsu people, two brothers, Tapion and Minosha, managed to freeze the monster in his tracks by each playing enchanted ocarinas, giving a wizard the opportunity to cut the monster in half with a magic sword. Since Hirudegarn couldn't be killed at the time, his upper-half was sealed in Tapion and the other half in Minosha. However, fearing that the monster might reappear someday, the brothers were separated, each sealed in a music box oracle, and were shot into opposite ends of the galaxy far away from each other. He has eventually revived on the planet Earth where Son Goku defeats him for good.

Image:Hildegarn2.png
Hirudegarn in his second form

Hirudegarn is able to undergo some sort of metamorphosis, and emerge a more powerful creature with a insect-like look and with the ability to fly thanks to the wings on his back. He is only tangible when he's attacking, otherwise, he can instantly teleport away.

In Daizenshuu #6, it is revealed that Hirudegarn's name comes from the Co-Producer, Seichi Hirude, who didn't like the original design of Hirudegarn, demanded that they redesign the character, and when he saw the new design, his jaw dropped. The sound effect for a jaw dropping in Japan is "Gaan", so they named the character Hirudegaan. (FUNimation uses Hirudegarn instead of Hirudegaan)

Hirudegarn is a playable character in the videogame Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 in only his second form.

[edit] Shamosei-jin character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

A race of small, humanoid aliens. Compared to Saiyans they are very weak, and most of them were enslaved by Paragus and Broly. But after Broly reached his full power, he destroyed their planet with one ki blast.

He is roughly six feet tall, has light skin and a mohawk of bright red hair. He wields a sword and an ocarina which he says are gifts from god. His name is a pun on tapioca. He is originally from the Planet Konack, and Tapion was sent to the Earth trapped inside a magical box where he could contain Hirudegarn. Unfortunately, Hoi, a black magician, tricked the Z fighters into getting Shenron to open up the box and release Tapion. Outside of the box, Tapion could not contain Hirudegarn and he was released. After Son Goku defeated Hirudegarn, Tapion went back to his home planet inside the Time Machine, after giving his sword to Trunks. In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 he is a playable character.

[edit] Minosha character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

Also spelled Minotia in some versions, Minosha is Tapion's younger brother. Together, he and his brother seal the two halves of Hirudegarn within themselves and were then sealed into two separate oracles. When freed, the half of Hirudegarn that was sealed inside him escaped. In an attempt to battle it, Minosha is killed. Like Tapion, he has an ocarina, which he used to distract Hirudegarn with the help of Tapion.

[edit] Tullece's Team

A tall, muscular alien, and one of Tullece's mercenaries in DBZ the Movie #3, Super Deciding Battle for the Entire Planet Earth(Tree of Might). He squares off against Kuririn before being taken out later by Son Goku.

All of Tullece's henchmen have name's that are puns off of nuts and beans. In this case it's amondo, the Japanese word for "almond".

[edit] Kakao character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

A cyborg-esque being with red magma/lava-like skin, he battles against Yamcha. Though defeating him, he is no match for an angry Son Goku, who defeats him along with the rest of Tulluce's henchmen. He has powerful thrusters and jetpacks installed into his armor.

His name comes from kakao, or "cacao" bean.

[edit] Daīzu character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

One of Tullece's gang members. Seemingly Tullece's second-in-command; he is moderately short with a ponytail. Defeated by Son Goku after using Kaiō-ken.

[edit] Rezun and Rakasei character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

They are a pair of small, plump alien twins. The two of them attack the same opponent together, though the tactic works less than expected against Gohan and the others. Rakasei splits out from Rezun in mid-battle. They have the ability to combine their bodies to form a single entity.

Their names are (respectably) lifted from the Japanese words for "peanut" and "raisin".

[edit] Lord Slug's Team

[edit] Angira character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

A pretty-boy villain from DBZ Movie 4, "Lord Slug". He looks like a Greek God with horns sticking out of his head but his primary looks and personality were fashioned after Zarbon. He is an honorable and handsome warrior with a high-class attitude. He tries to surprise Goku with an underground grab, where he sends his hands through the ground and grabs Goku. He blasts at Goku from his mouth but Goku hits the blast back at him and he ends up swallowing his own Ki blast which Goku deflected back at him, killing him.

[edit] Dorodabo character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

Known as "Wings" in the U.S. dub, he's a fat flying villain from DBZ Movie #4. He's one of Lord Slug's henchmen and looks and personality were fashioned after Dodoria. A very strange frog-like henchman of Slug has the special ability to create energy-sucking clones of himself which put up quite a match for Goku. However,he contains strength but not as much as Goku's and is taken out by Goku quite easily.

[edit] Zeeun character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

The muscle in Lord Slug's group, but not very smart. Zeeun eventually got killed by Lord Slug for commenting on how old he was, which proved to be a big mistake.

[edit] Uranai Baba's Fighters

[edit] Akuman character appears in the original Dragon Ball series character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

The Devilman
The Devilman

(FUNimation's dub: Spike the Devil Man)

One of Uranai Baba's strongest fighters. He has the unusual ability to make people explode into pieces by expanding the evil inside of their heart; apart from that, his skill as a fighter is unbelievable, having won the World Martial Arts Tournament twice in the past. He gave Son Goku a run for his money and tried to blow him to shreads, but unfortunately for him, he didn't know that Goku had a pure heart. He returns in DBZ to give his energy to Goku's Super Genki Dama. Some fans consider him to perhaps actually be strong enough to take on characters such as Vegeta and Freeza due to his ability; however it could also be possible that either his power does not work on those with a higher power level to his and/or that such characters like the ones mentioned, while vulnerable to such power; they would be quick enough to dodge it. It is also estimated that his power would not have any critical effect on Cell and Majin Buu, as if yet they explode; they can easily regenerate themselves and it would certainly not have any effect at all with full mechanized characters such as Jinzō'ningen #16, since they are not living beings at all.

[edit] Dracula Man character appears in the original Dragon Ball series

(FUNimation's dub: Fangs the Vampire Man)

One of Uranai Baba's ghostly fighters. This kickboxing vampire first fights Kuririn and manages to suck Kuririn's blood. Kuririn breaks free but loses by ring out. Dracula next fights Puar & Upa. They don't seem to stand a chance until Upa eats a bunch of garlic & starts breathing on Dracula Man. He fights back by trying to bite Pu'er. Pu'er turns into a porcupine seconds before and Dracula Man gets a mouth full of needles. Upa gets into a stance that resembles a cross. This freaks Dracula Man out so he turns into a bat and tries to escape. Puar quickly turns into a giant hand a slaps Dracula Man out of the ring.

Dracula Man appears to make a brief appearance in the anime of DBZ during the Android Saga as a member of the biker gang that chases the Androids while they're riding around in their van.

[edit] Invisible Man character appears in the original Dragon Ball series

He is one of Uranai Baba's men. Yamcha volunteers to fight next and is surprised to learn that his opponent is an invisible man. Because he can't see him, Yamcha spends most of this fight getting slapped around. Son Goku nabs Bulma and Muten Rōshi, then he has Kuririn swipe off Bulma's top, thus exposing what she was graciously endowed with. Seeing this, Muten Rōshi suffers from his biggest nose bleed ever and covers the invisble man in blood making him possible to see and thus tangible. In FUNimation's edit-dub this was changed: Kruririn sends Goku off on the Kinto'un to get Muten Rōshi and a can of tomato soup (with the help of a small piece of footage from Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle and tricky camera angles). When Goku returns Muten Rōshi throws the tomato soup onto the invisible man, making him visible. Now that Yamcha can see him, Invisible Man is easily defeated.

[edit] Myra character appears in the original Dragon Ball series character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

One of Uranai Baba's fighters. Son Goku KO's him. Myra was the mummy fighter from Uranai Baba. He fought third, and his first competitor was Yamcha. Myra defeated him, but then was defeated by Goku.
