Deus Ex:

In the Paris section of the game, a headstone to Lord Brinne reads "A true friend, and fellow adventurer". Lord Brinne was the online nickname of Bill Iburg, an RPG fan and regular of multiple forums who died in 1999.

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: At the Senim Ancestral Tomb, you will find a bone of Pop Je and his amulet. Some have said that Pop Je was a fan of the series and official forum contributor who died before the game was finished [1]. However, the real story according to developer Gary Noonan is that the character is dedicated to his father, who died during development.[2]

In one of the ancestral tombs near Seyda Neen, you will find the "Ashes of Lord Brinne" [3] The game also contains Lord Brinne's Chest. Lord Brinne was the online nickname of Bill Iburg, an RPG fan and regular of multiple forums who died in 1999.

Full Throttle: The credits pay homage by name to the cats of the developers who had died during the development of the game.

Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer: Contains "Lord Brinne's Tomb" at Ravenshore, a memorial to Bill Iburg ("Lord Brinne). Lord Brinne was the online nickname of Bill Iburg, an RPG fan and regular of multiple forums who died in 1999.

Ultima IX: Contains a shrine to Bill Iburg ("Lord Brinne), who died before the game was released. World of Warcraft: In the Barrens, south-west of the Crossroads on a hill is a memorial dedicated to an orc with the initials "M-K". Michel Koiter was an illustrator at Blizzard who died during the making of the game. To reach the memorial, follow a ridge to the southeast of the hill. Half-way up, you will find the base of a mound. Go up the trail to reach the memorial. If you visit the memorial in spirit form, you’ll find a spirit healer named Koiter.[6]
