- Blue Boyd of Happiness - Blue mixed drink invented by Woody Boyd in Cheers. At first, he recreated the Blue Moon mixed cocktail. Later, he invented a tasty, perfect drink -- but by then was so exhausted he'd forgotten the recipe he used.
- Open Grave - concoction Carla Tortelli fixed for Diane Chambers in the first season episode Truce or Consequences on the TV sitcom Cheers, by pouring various hard liquor liberally and almost randomly into a mixer. Served in oversize wine glasses, Carla bragged, "This drink is the reason no member of my family ever lived past 50." When Diane started drinking large gulps of the drink when Carla told her Sam Malone was the father of one of her children, she exclaimed, "You're gonna die!" The extremely alcoholic drink, among other things, knocked Diane right out. When Sam entered the bar, at first he thought, "Oh God, Carla, you killed her..." then realized, "Oh, Carla, you fixed her an Open Grave?!", to which Carla blithely replied, "Yep. And she jumped right in."
