This is a list of eating and serving utensils.

  • Balti, see Balti (food)
  • Chopsticks Typically, two long, thin sticks held between the thumb and fingers and used to pick up food, or for pushing food from a bowl into the mouth.
  • Drinking straws
  • Foodwraps e.g. pita, tortillas, chapatis, sandwich bread, etc.
  • Fork A flat utensil, longer than wide, with several tines on the end used to stick into food, so it can be delivered to the mouth.
  • Hands and fingers.
  • Knife Any utensil with a sharp cutting edge, usually metal, used to cut food.
  • Knork A fork with dull knife edges used to safely cut food via pressure.
  • Runcible spoon A spoon with shallow tines on the end opposite the handle and a cutting edge on one side of the bowl.
  • Spoon A handle with a (usually shallow) bowl on the end, used to move foods, especially liquids, to the mouth.
  • Spork (Also known as a splade) A combination spoon and fork.
