[edit] Non-Greek figures who claimed a demigod type status
- Hong Xiuquan --Claimed to be Son of God and brother of Jesus, but to not be God itself.
- Jesus --As interpreted by some historical and non-mainstream Christian sects, such as Arianism or Mormonism.
