List of cathedrals in New Zealand
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cathedrals have been a feature of New Zealand cities since the 19th century.
The word is somewhat central to the character of Christchurch, the South Island city founded by British Anglicans, because its social and commercial hub is "Cathedral Square". Other early-established cities also have cathedrals of various denominations in prominent central locations.
