This is a list of currently active autonomist and secessionist movements around the world.

Originally, entries on this list met two criteria: they are active movements with living, active members, and they are seeking greater autonomy or freedom for a geographical region (as opposed to personal autonomy). However, the list has expanded to include a variety of entries, perhaps due to the contentiousness of what is and is not considered to be an autonomy and secessionist movement.
