List of X-Men teams

The X-Men are a team of comic book mutant superheroes, as published by Marvel Comics. A sign * beside the name will denote a current member of the team and a slash (/) will denote codenames in chronological order. Current active X-Men include Cyclops, Emma Frost, Beast, Shadowcat, Colossus, Wolverine - Astonishing X-Men; Nightcrawler, Marvel Girl (Rachel Summers), Havok, Polaris, Warpath, Darwin - Uncanny X-Men; Rogue, Iceman, Cannonball, Sabretooth, Karima Shapandar, Lady Mastermind and Mystique - X-Men. The current X-Men trainees are Hellion, X-23, Rockslide, Mercury, Surge, Dust, and Elixir - New X-Men.

There were 200 at the time of the riot, 3 died during it. Then Sammy, Carter and the new mutants (minus Wallflower and Icarus) joined between others. Some students died during Xorn's attack, other left afterwards. Around 5 joined when the school was rebuilt. Sammy died and Carter left during the Brotherhood attack. Then it was stated that the students were 182 before M-Day. They now are 26 including X-23 (+Kid Omega in Beast's lab). The ones who didn't show up in New X-Men #23 are most likely depowered or even dead (42 died on the bus). The still powered ones have a *.
