List of United States Senators from Texas

Texas was admitted to the Union on December 29, 1845. Its Senate seats were vacant during the Civil War.
This list presents the men and women who have represented Texas in the United States Senate arranged in chronological order. The use of a class simply identifies which years in which a normal election occurs for that seat. The next election for Senators of class 1 is in 2006, while class 2 is in 2008.

- ^ Henderson, appointed to replace Rusk, was sworn in on November 9, 1857, and died in office on June 4, 1858.

- ^ Gramm was not a candidate for reelection, and resigned early on November 30, 2002.
