Battleships

  • Reshadieh (laid down 1911) - Confiscated by the UK 1914, renamed Erin

Displacement (normal): 23,000 tons.

Main armament: ten 13.5-inch (343mm) guns in five twin turrets (two superfiring); turret arrangement A-Bs-Q-Xs-Y.

Secondary armament: sixteen 6-inch (152mm) quick-firing guns in casemates.

Design speed 21 knots.


  • Sultan Osman I (laid down 1911) - ex-Brazilian Rio de Janeiro; confiscated by the UK 1914, renamed Agincourt

Displacement (normal): 27,500 tons.

Main armament: fourteen 12-inch (305mm) guns in seven twin turrets (two superfiring); turret arrangement A-Bs-Q-P-X-Ys-Z.

Secondary armament: twenty 6-inch (152mm) quick-firing guns in casemates

Design speed: 22 knots.


Battlecruisers

  • Yavuz/Sultan Selim (laid down 1909) - ex-German Goeben (Moltke-class); transferred from Germany 1914, scrapped 1971

Displacement (normal): 22,640 tons

Main armament: ten 11.1-inch (283mm) guns in five twin turrets (one superfiring); turret arrangement A-right wing-left wing-Xs-Y

Secondary armament: twelve 5.9-inch (150mm) guns in casemates*

Design speed: 27 knots
