List of Seinfeld episodes

The following is an episode list for the NBC sitcom Seinfeld. The series began on July 5, 1989 as The Seinfeld Chronicles and was soon picked up for a full season, which began airing on May 31, 1990. The series became popular in its fourth season. The final original episode aired on May 14, 1998.

During its nine-year run, 180 Seinfeld episodes were produced. The count includes two retrospectives, split into four parts: "The Highlights of 100", covering the first one-hundred episodes; and "The Clip Show", also known as "The Chronicle", which aired before the series finale. On November 25, 2004, a special titled The Seinfeld Story was broadcast. This marked the first appearance of Seinfeld on NBC since its series finale in 1998.

The first seven seasons are available on DVD with further releases pending. The fifth and sixth seasons were released on November 22, 2005, followed by the seventh season on November 21, 2006. As of 2006, the show is still rerun regularly in syndication.

This list is arranged in the order the episodes were broadcast. The DVDs are arranged by order they were produced.

	Jerry, Elaine and George eat at a non-fat frozen yogurt shop in which Kramer has invested, but gain weight and fear that the yogurt is not as healthy as its purveyors claim. Jerry inadvertently uses a cuss word while near a sleezy neighbor's clueless son, who himself starts to frequently use the word. Elaine commissions a laboratory to evaluate the yogurt and unknowingly gives her boyfriend, Lloyd Braun (also George's nemesis), the idea to promote name tags for everyone in New York City, which he then suggests to the current mayor of New York City, David Dinkins. Kramer's date with a lab technician produces a very odd cholesterol test result for Dinkins' opponent, Rudy Giuliani.

	Uncertain about a job interview he has had, George decides to feign that he is a hired employee while the boss is out of town. Having had sex with his furniture store quarry, George leaves a condom wrapper in his parents' bed; his parents discover not only the wrapper but also the absence of Frank's TV Guide (he is a collector) and punish him. Kramer meets a nun at George's church but must break up with her when she decides to forsake religion for him.

	Elaine asks a woman in a neighboring toilet stall for toilet paper, but the woman "can't spare a square". Elaine, meanwhile, becomes enamored of her boyfriend's face, but he falls while rock climbing with George and Kramer, leaving her to wonder whether his face will ever be the same.

George, having signed up to mentor a child through the Big Brothers program, tries several times to escape his new responsibility. Kramer, meanwhile, agrees with Morty Seinfeld to selt beltless raincoats, while George sells his father's moth-laden summer clothes, unaware that his parents are planning a cruise.

The plans are cancelled however when their plane experiences turbulence and is forced to land for repairs. They are arrested for breaking a law in Latham County, Massachusetts.

	In addition to being convicted of disobeying the Good Samaritan law, Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer are also on trial for being poor influences. After hearing several testimonies from many returning characters, Judge Vandelay sentences the four of them to a year in prison.
