This is a list of the Premiers of Quebec, Canada since Confederation (1867).

Notes:

  • In English, the word 'minister' comes from Old French ministre, which in turn comes from the Latin minister, meaning 'servant'. Because they already know a similar word when they were introduced to British political terminology, French Canadians adopted ministre as is.
  • French Canadians did not adopt the distinction between 'premier' (first minister of a province) and 'prime minister' (first minister of a country) as used by English Canadians. In French, both are termed premier ministre.
  • In English-language publications from the Quebec government, the premier may be referred to as either the prime minister or the premier.
