The second season directly follows the prison break from the first season. It revolves around the escapees' journey to their family, Westmoreland's money and Michael's plan to escape the country. According to an interview at IGN.com, season 2 will cover approximately 3 weeks of the characters' lives with each episode representing a day.[1]
