This is a list of characters in the Fox television drama, Prison Break. The following characters are listed alphabetically by their last names in their respective sections. Information on the characters is current as of The Killing Box (2x13).

Brad Bellick Wade Williams 1, 2 Brad Bellick was the former leader of the Fox River State Penitentiary guards. After his dismissal, Bellick decided to go after the fugitives for the reward money.
Lincoln Burrows Dominic Purcell 1, 2 Lincoln was sentenced to death for Terrence Steadman's murder, a crime he did not commit. He was transferred to Fox River State Penitentiary until his execution.
Lincoln Burrows, Jr. ("LJ") Marshall Allman 1, 2 L. J. is Lincoln's son and for this reason, he has been targeted by "The Company".
Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin Rockmond Dunbar 1, 2 C-Note was known as the "prison pharmacist" at Fox River Penitentiary, and was serving 8 years for possession of stolen goods.
Paul Kellerman Paul Adelstein 1, 2 Kellerman is a Secret Service agent commissioned by Reynolds to make sure that Lincoln Burrows is executed.
Alexander Mahone William Fichtner 2 FBI Special Agent Mahone is the agent in charge of the nationwide manhunt for the Fox River escapees.
Michael Scofield Wentworth Miller 1, 2 Michael staged a bank robbery in order to install himself in the same prison as his brother in order to help him escape.
Fernando Sucre Amaury Nolasco 1, 2 Sucre was Michael's cellmate, and was serving 5 years for aggravated robbery.
Sara Tancredi Sarah Wayne Callies 1, 2 Sara is one of the few doctors working at Fox River, who has become involved in the conspiracy behind Lincoln's setup.

Hector is Sucre's cousin and a rival for Maricruz's affection, who later accepted his marriage proposal. Hector is partly responsible for Sucre's incarceration.
Debra Jean Belle Kristin Malko 2x02, 2x04, 2x05, 2x07
Debra Jean is a college student from Utah. She shared a ride to Utah with Tweener after he responded to her advertisement on the campus ride board. Initially, she was suspicious of his behaviour but later tells Tweener that she likes him and shares a motel room with him for a night. Their time together is interrupted when a police officer arrives ask if she has seen a Fox River fugitive, namely Tweener. She does not give him in but tells him to take her car and leave. Tweener later appears at Belle's front door and attempts to make his peace with her, expressing his true feelings for her. She smiles at him as he is led away by the police.
Aldo Burrows Anthony Denison 1x15, 1x19, 2x10 - 2x12
Aldo Burrows is Michael and Lincoln's father and is a former employee of "The Company". He left before Michael's birth and suddenly resurfaced at Lincoln's execution. He is the reason why Lincoln obtained a death sentence.
Maricruz Delgado Camille Guaty 1x01, 1x02, 1x04, 1x12, 1x16
Maricruz is Sucre's girlfriend and is carrying his child but found it difficult to wait for his release. She was Sucre's main motivation for escaping.
Philly Falzone Al Sapienza 1x02, 1x03, 1x09, 1x10
Falzone frequently pressured Abruzzi to locate Otto Fibonacci. He was tricked by Michael and Abruzzi to go to Canada to find Fibonacci and was arrested.
Kacee Franklin Cynthia Kaye McWilliams 1x13, 1x16, 1x20, 2x03, 2x09, 2x12
Kacee is C-Note's wife and the mother of his daughter. Ignorant of her husband's incarceration until his escape, Kacee was reluctant to trust C-Note's plan for their family's reunion. However, when Agent Lang pressured her to make a choice, she chooses not to cooperate with the FBI. Kacee and her family escaped to North Dakota before she was arrested for aiding and abetting her husband.
Lisa Rix Jessalyn Gilsig 1x01, 1x03, 1x07, 1x08
Lisa is LJ's mother and was previously in a relationship with Lincoln. She and her husband, Adrian, were murdered by Agents Kellerman and Hale.
Nick Savrinn Frank Grillo 1x04 - 1x15, 1x17 - 1x22
Nick worked for Project Justice, an organization that frees wrongly convicted people and offered to do pro bono work because he believed Lincoln was innocent. However, he also made a deal with John Abruzzi to watch over Veronica Donovan.
Nika Volek Holly Valance 1x10, 1x11, 1x19, 2x03, 2x04
Michael helped Nika become an American citizen by marrying her before robbing the bank. In return, she helped him with his escape plan. Michael enlisted her aid again after the escape but left her when she betrayed him.

Brinker is an employee of "The Company" with whom Kellerman and Reynolds have been collaborating. She recognized a former employee of the company, Lincoln and Michael's father, who had sent information to the judge which prompted him to stay Lincoln's execution. She gave very accurate assessments to The Company regarding Reynolds' personality profile, affirming Reynolds' ambitions to be the president. Brinker bluntly delivered The Company's decision to Reynolds about their withdrawal of support from her presidential race. After Reynolds arranged for the death of President Richard Mills and was sworn into office, Brinker was casually dismissed by Reynolds.
Danny Hale Danny McCarthy 1x01 - 1x06, 1x08 - 1x13, 1x16
Hale was Kellerman's partner and assisted him in his work on behalf of the Vice-President. He grew increasingly disillusioned with their work as several innocent people had been killed, and the personal risk to the two agents was increasing, though Kellerman was usually able to keep him in line. Agent Hale began to have second thoughts and decided not to kill L.J. Burrows even when the opportunity arose. He later called Veronica Donovan and offered to meet her to give her information on Lincoln's case. Hale was about to give Veronica a three page dossier on the entire conspiracy when he had Veronica hide behind a car, because Kellerman suddenly showed up. Upon finding the dossier and learning that Hale had also named him in the conspiracy Kellerman shot and killed Hale.
William Kim Reggie Lee 2x05 - 2x08, 2x10 - 2x13
Secret Service agent Kim became Kellerman's supervisor shortly after the Fox River Eight escape. Impatient with Kellerman's methods, he has begun to take a more active role in the hunt for Lincoln Burrows and Aldo Burrows.
Quinn Michael Gaston 1x10, 1x11, 1x17
Quinn was an agent from "The Company", put in charge of supervising Agents Kellerman and Hale. Seemingly careless and neurotic, Quinn is actually observant, intelligent, and ruthless. His attempt to obtain information from Nick, Veronica and LJ fails and he ends up at the bottom of a well. After Agents Kellerman and Hale arrive, they respond by pulling a cover over the well and leaving him there to die. Quinn's body is still there weeks later when Veronica, LJ, and Nick return to recover his phone for information. Before dying, Quinn scratched the names KELLERMAN and O. KRAVECKI into the wall, giving LJ a clue to find Kellerman.
Caroline Reynolds Patricia Wettig 1x02, 1x04, 1x05, 1x08, 1x10, 1x13 - 1x22
Formerly the Vice President of the United States, Caroline Reynolds was sworn in as President after President Mills died of an apparent heart attack.
Terrence Steadman John Billingsley & Jeff Perry 1x16, 1x19, 1x22, 2x01
President Reynolds' brother, whom Lincoln Burrows was convicted of murdering. Steadman is in fact alive, but is imprisoned by the Secret Service in a house in Montana.

Geary was one of the many corrections officers working under Bellick at Fox River but was fired for stealing and misconduct after being framed for Michael's burn. Geary later joined Bellick in the fugitives' hunt for the reward money.
Lang Barbara Eve Harris 2x03 - 2x05, 2x09, 2x10
FBI Agent Lang constantly reports to Special Agent Mahone on the location of the fugitives.
Wheeler Jason Davis 2x01, 2x03 - 2x07, 2x09 - 2x11, 2x13
FBI Agent Wheeler accompanies and helps Special Agent Mahone track the fugitives mainly from the FBI headquarters in Chicago.

Tweener was a notorious pickpocket before his arrest. He was serving 5 years in prison for grand larceny. His alienation from both the black and white inmates earned him the nickname "Tweener". He later joins the escape team.
Gus Fiorello Peter J. Reineman 1x03, 1x05-1x07, 1x09, 1x10
Gus Fiorello was Abruzzi's right hand man until Philly Falzone promoted him for a short period of time when Abruzzi couldn't give him Otto Fibonacci.
Seth "Cherry" Hoffner Blaine Hogan 1x06, 1x08, 1x09
Serving 8 years at Fox River for Vehicular Invasion and Kidnapping, Seth was quickly given the nickname "Cherry" and forced into a sexual relationship with T-Bag. Seth appealed to Michael for help, though Michael refused to get involved since T-Bag was aware of Michael's escape plan. Shortly thereafter, Seth committed suicide by hanging himself.
Charles "Haywire" Patoshik Silas Weir Mitchell 1x03, 1x04, 1x17, 1x18, 1x21, 1x22, 2x06, 2x07
Haywire was incarcerated at the Psychiatric Ward of Fox River State Penitentiary, serving 60 years for second-degree murder. Haywire was temporarily Michael's cellmate. Michael was forced to let him join the escape group after he found out about the escape plan.
Manche Sanchez Joseph Nunez 1x15 - 1x22, 2x03
Manche Sanchez is a cousin of Fernando Sucre. His regular laundry duty in prison allowed Michael and Sucre access to guard uniforms. After Michael was transferred to the psych ward, Manche served as a messenger between him and Sucre. He also grew suspicious of them. Eventually, Sucre and Lincoln let Manche in on the escape plan. He assists them in the set-up of C.O. Geary. He is later captured during the breakout and was forced to give up the names of the escapees. For trying to escape, ten additional years has been added onto his prison sentence. After joining the national manhunt for the eight escapees, Brad Bellick decided to pay a visit to Manche at Fox River. Bellick threatened to use his influence if he did not tell him where the escapees were going. Manche told Bellick what he overheard from Charles Westmoreland's dying words about the hidden money in Tooele, Utah.
Christopher Trokey Robert Michael Vieau 1x04, 1x06, 1x08
Christopher Trokey was T-Bag's cellmate. T-Bag planted a photo of C.O. Hudson's daughter under Trokey's bed, leading to Trokey being falsely accused of killing C.O. Hudson.
Charles Westmoreland Muse Watson 1x01, 1x02, 1x05 - 1x08, 1x10 - 1x15, 1x17 - 1x22
Nicknamed "The Old Head" by his fellow inmates, Westmoreland was a veteran of the prison. He later admitted to being D. B. Cooper and joined the escape team after discovering that his daughter was dying of cancer.

Robert Hudson was a corrections officer at Fox River. Whilst escorting the death row inmate Lincoln Burrows back to his cell during a prison riot, Hudson was cornered by T-Bag and was dragged into the cell of Michael Scofield where he accidentally exposed a hole hidden behind the prisoner's sink. As a result he was taken hostage and used as "leverage" for negotiations between the inmates, the Warden and the Governor of Illinois. Despite appeals from Michael and threats from Abruzzi, T-Bag stabbed and killed Robert Hudson before pushing him off a tier onto the ground below. Christopher Trokey was falsely accused of his murder.
Louis Patterson Phillip Edward Van Lear 1x01 - 1x06, 1x08 - 1x14, 1x20 - 2x01, 2x13
Patterson is more compassionate than most of the other corrections officers, particularly to Lincoln. On one occasion, Patterson let Lincoln see his son without his handcuffs on. Although he is a married man, he had an affair with the warden's secretary, Becky.
Henry Pope Stacy Keach 1x01 - 1x15, 1x17 - 2x02
Nicknamed "The Pope" by the inmates, Henry Pope was the warden at Fox River for eighteen years. He resigned in protest after the state Department of Corrections review board terminated Captain Bellick.
Keith Stolte Christian Stolte 1x01 - 1x05, 1x08 - 1x10, 1x12 - 1x14, 1x19, 1x21, 1x22
Keith Stolte is another corrections officer at Fox River. He likes to talk about sports with C.O. Patterson and has a teenaged son called Josh.
Katie Welch DuShon Monique Brown 1x02, 1x08, 1x11, 1x13, 1x15, 1x17, 1x19 - 2x01
Katie is one of the nurses who befriended Sara at Fox River. After Michael and the prisoners escaped, Katie reluctantly told the warden that Sara may have assisted Michael in his escape.

A second-hand witness (via her murdered boyfriend) to Lincoln Burrows' innocence, she gave an unsigned affidavit to Veronica Donovan just before being kidnapped by the Secret Service agents. She was murdered by the same agents soon after.
Otto Fibonacci Roderick Peeples 1x10
Otto Fibonacci was the manager at a warehouse which happened to be run by the mob when he witnessed Abruzzi order the execution of two men. His testimony led to Abruzzi's conviction and incarceration. Fibonacci later entered the Witness Protection Program and went into hiding in Topeka, Kansas.
Frank Tancredi John Heard 1x06, 1x07, 1x14, 1x20, 2x03, 2x05 - 2x07, 2x11
The Governor of the state of Illinois and the father of Dr. Sara Tancredi. His strict policies on crime resulted in his refusal to grant Lincoln Burrows clemency. He was initially chosen by Caroline Reynolds to become the new Vice President, but the nomination was abruptly withdrawn.
